Management Team

CEO/Owner, Keena Kelly

Keena Kelly has been in the Global Supply Industry since 2011. She is currently the nation’s only Black woman who owns and operates her own firm within the muti billion-dollar International Ocean Cargo and Logistics industry.  Working with a coterie of RORO shippers from the Chicago, IL area she helped to manage their business relationship with entities requiring compliance. In 2017 the Federal Maritime Commission granted Keena Kelly’s application to become an Ocean Freight Forwarder and a Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier, a rare designation in the Global Supply Chain Industry for a Black woman. She is a true unicorn trailblazer. And, as the owner, she leads the firm’s charge to overhaul the operation to offer a menu of services that ensure sustained growth. Recognizing the future of supply chain, she implemented professional development based on the Emotional Intelligence Quotients Training for the team, creating a culture of high productivity and low turnover. Under her leadership, BJJ consistently receives high marks for processes and compliance in the maritime industry. Keena uses analytical tools related to traffic and sales to guide BJJ clients to the best traveling lanes, negotiating the best vessel rates, and reducing wasteful Incoterms fees. This method has led to 100% rating on the Service Level Agreements and On Time and In-full (SLA/OTIF) delivery of client shipments.
